Description
This is a 14×6 stave snare drum from HHGs resourceful and imaginative Recycle series. It has a satin finish over a vertical grain pattern, single-point chrome lugs and triple flange hoops. It has 45-degree bearing edges, an Evans HHG-branded batter head and PureSound 30-strand snare wires. The shells for Recycle snares are made from the scraps of wood left over from the drums HHG lead craftsman Sam Thurau makes throughout a year. This drum features poplar, wenge, curly maple, quilted maple, leopard wood, spalted sycamore, zebra wood, ash, mahogany, oak, walnut and cocobolo.
